Study Abroad

Students in the European and Eurasian Studies M.A. Program have a variety of options to study abroad for a semester, summer, or for other short programs as an integral part of their degree.

EES students can earn up to 10 credits towards their M.A. degree while studying for a semester at an Elliott School Exchange Partner. Each program (except in Paris) has a full curriculum taught in English, with opportunities for language studies. Because of academic calendar of these institutions differs from that at GW, EES students should plan to study abroad during their first spring semester in the M.A. program.
