The Institute for European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies (IERES) condemns Russia’s military assault on Ukraine. We stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine, Russia, and the rest of the world who oppose this war and call for the restoration of Ukraine’s sovereignty. IERES provides a platform for scholarly exchanges that respect the plurality of opinions, and we denounce the use of historical lies to justify this invasion. We will use our resources to offer a deeper understanding of the structural forces transforming the European security and political environment.
